I have about 27 years of diverse and rich corporate experience, with interests spanning leadership, diversity, strategy, digitalization, and careers. I have coached hundreds of people across a wide range of industry sectors (industrials to advertising), corporate roles (MD/CEO to new managers), coaching themes, nationalities, identities, and demographics.

Earlier, I worked at the core of India’s largest conglomerate, and collaborated with boards and CEOs to reorient businesses; worked for a very large global company to build its start-up operation in India; and excelled at traditional sales and operations roles in large and small companies in sectors as diverse as industrials and retail.

Corporate Experience

I founded ikigai Discoveries in 2017, after almost 2 decades in corporate roles.

Earlier, I was Practice Head at Tata Strategic Management Group, where I led an internal and external consulting practice and was involved with Tata group strategy formulation, business transformation, and people management. I worked with company boards and CEOs to reorient businesses & teams, and led strategy & operations consulting initiatives for companies in the Tata group and outside, particularly in automotive, manufacturing, infrastructure, metals, aerospace/defence. These included large, multinational, multi-business corporations as well as smaller and promoter run businesses. This led to rich insights into how organisational culture, aspirations, and challenges vary dramatically, and how they affect individual and organisational effectiveness. Additionally, I served as lead for both corporate communication and diversity, for Tata Strategic Management Group.

Till 2008, I worked for leading multinational & Indian corporates across sectors & roles, including bottom-line responsibility – Alcan (later Rio Tinto Alcan), Hindalco Industries, Madura Garments, Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej & Boyce.
